 About Ralphie:

Ralphie is a beautifully behaved, loving and affectionate dog. He is consistently obedient, gentle and delightful at home. Ralphie has two diagnosed behavioural needs: separation anxiety and reactivity on walks. With training using the “look” command, treats before walks, his reactivity has improved greatly. He may still bark if another dog is very close or if someone appears suddenly, but he is usually calm with guidance and now rarely reacts to dogs barking from inside houses or dogs across the road. Ralphie is relaxed around dogs he knows and quietly coexists with them when visiting friends.

About Franklin 🐾

Franklin is a handsome 5-year-old black and tan miniature dachshund who is looking for a very special forever home. He is toilet trained, lead trained, and sleeps inside where he can be close to his people.

Franklin is playful, child friendly, and happy with people, but he does need an experienced and understanding home. He has separation anxiety and cannot currently be left alone, so he will need someone who is home most of the time and willing to continue supporting him with patience, routine, and care.

He has lived with other dogs in the past, but since moving to a different household structure he has become reactive to other dogs and animals and is best suited to a calm home. Franklin is also food and toy possessive, so he is fed separately and will need a home that understands resource guarding and can manage this safely.

With the right person or family, Franklin has the chance to feel secure, loved, and settled. If you have dachshund experience, are home often, and can offer Franklin the patient, structured home he needs, we would love to hear from you.

Lola is a sweet 5-year-old Dachshund looking for a loving home.

She has had IVDD in the past, was treated with crate rest, and has fully recovered.

Lola loves children, people, car rides, baths, and playing with her favourite balls. She may bark when meeting someone new, but once she settles, she is loving and loyal.

She is toilet trained and crate trained. She can spend a few hours on her own with toys or enrichment, and she gets along with other dogs once she has time to settle. Lola is not suited to a home with cats and can be protective of her toys.

Susie  – Silver Dapple Smooth

 My name is Suzi and I am a female dashie.
I like to be the "boss" and will tell you if I'm not getting the attention I crave and love to sit on your lap.
I am more suited to a quiet home with no other animals.
I am fully toilet trained and as my carers live in a unit I get taken out quite regularly or I also let them know if I'm desperate.
Some dogs I will tolerate but I'm not overly friendly.
I don't mind little adults so long as they treat me with respect.
Squeaky toys are my favourite and last about 5 minutes so they are given to me as a treat.
I love to go in the car and love to put my head out the window and have my ears flapping in the breeze.
