Tail wags & licks, we are All 4 Dachshunds. A small not for profit registered charity for rehoming displaced dachshunds. We have been operating in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria & Tasmania for just under 3 years. 2022 was a very busy year for us, more than tripling our rehoming numbers from the previous year with 66 dachshunds being rehomed.
Of these rescues, we had 8 that required behavioural/aggression board & training programs through Animal Education & Adventure Paws Training. We also took on 12 Special Needs Dachshunds that required surgery, medical attention, rehabilitation for circumstances like IVDD, Megaesophagus, epilepsy & double dapple inherited issues.
So far in 2023 we have rehomed 27 dachshunds, another 23 in foster care, awaiting surgery, in behavioural modification training or have foster care pending adoptions. This year alone our Veterinary & Behavioural Expenses are already $77,950.
We are a very small not for profit registered charity with a small and limited fundraising footprint and receive no government support. We rely on donations, merchandise sales, raffles, adoption fees & hosting events.
With 23 years in rescue and 18 dachshunds between us, 13 of which are rescues or rehomes, we (Rosalia, Shelley and Anne) have seen a lot. We’ve shed many tears from an abundance of sadness but those tearful times have been outweighed happily by lots of positives.
